About Laren and JerriLynn Woolley
Laren has won numerous photographic awards in various competitions including Nature Photographers of the Pacific Northwest, Columbia Council of Camera Clubs competitions, Celebrate Art (Friends of Florence) and local photographic competitons. Laren began his serious journey into photography in Bend, Oregon working with a good friend and fine art Photographer. From there his love for photography has escalated. He has taken additional classes and is proficient in the "digital darkroom" which ensures that what he sees in the camera is what is produced in his fine art photogrpahy. Laren believes capturing that fleeting image with perfect light and compostion is a significant art form.
JerriLynn's interest in photography began years ago. She received her first camera at the age of 12 and relished working beside her father, who loved taking pictures. Her talents with a camera mainly focused on her family until moving to Newport, when her passion, additional training, excellent equipment and natural talent came together. JerriLynn has been mentored and encouraged through her journey by her husband, Laren. JerriLynn loves to be around people, which has brought her success with portrait and environmental photography and managing their business, Oregon Coast Photography (formerly Colors of the West Photography).
